Course Rationale:

This course provides an opportunity for students to obtain practical work experience within program-related occupations.

Catalog Description:

This course entails a supervised work experience in the major field, which provides the opportunity to make practical application of the knowledge and skills attained. An individualized instructional management plan will determine goals to be accomplished. Seminars may also be required. Please see the Department Chair of specific program area for application.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course students should be able to

  1. Apply methods and theories from previous courses to their on-the-job training, know and apply principles of work ethics, specify, understand, and apply goals set forth by individualized plans.
